We’d like to invite you to find out what it’s like to help shape the minds of tomorrow by giving you the opportunity to volunteer at our next event. Love coding? Love kids? If the answer is yes to only one of these, it should probably the second one! Everyone is welcome, regardless of technical ability. Aside from a general call if you have an interest in helping to organize Katas a.k.a. training exercises in your favorite tech of choice, please reach out to us. We’d love to have your expertise.
To learn more about mentoring, please watch this brief promo video:
If you are unable to attend meetings and mentor at CoderNova, but would still like to help, we are in need of volunteers and sponsors who can simply help spread the word, recruit new mentors, donate equipment, space and more.
- All teaching sessions run between 1 pm and 3 pm. We usually take a break at the half way mark.
- Volunteers are requested to be there between 12:30 pm and 3 pm on the event day (Sunday) for setup and breakdown.
- The only thing you need to bring is yourself, willingness to help new programmers learn, and a fun, cheerful attitude!
- If you want to volunteer, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
